IDROCALOR has been a leading company in the industrial processes for more than 100 years.
In 1907 Amedeo Tormene set up his entrepreneurial activity by opening a workshop for designing and manufacturing precision patterns for foundries.
A few years later, thanks to the activity of Amedeo’s son, Tristano, the company increased its business, by implementing the foundry and machine shop for producing components of special steel (gas pressure regulators, valves etc.) and burners for rotary kilns.

experience, Carlo Tormene specialized in the production of gas burners and industrial ovens for a lot of different application fields.
This long experience, tradition and true passion for the industrial processes enabled Carlo to set up the company IDROCALOR, currently managed by his son Alberto.
IDROCALOR plants have been installed in a large number of companies located not only in Italy but also in Europe, in the Middle East, Russia and America.
In particular, IDROCALOR ovens are internationally appreciated for their technological characteristics, reliability, and efficiency.

In 1918 Mr Amedeo Tormene received a Diploma for the design and manufacturing of a motor-driven plough.
